Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions seeks a Fire Alarm/Low Voltage Helper to support installation and checkout on fire alarm, security, and data systems. You will follow drawings, codes, and procedures to assist with field work and customer-facing interactions.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and a desire to grow in the fire-life safety field. The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and willingness to travel or work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willingness to learn and grow in fire-life safety.
• Strong organizational, decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime and travel as needed.
• Physically able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Willing to learn standard trade tools and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with conduit and wire installations and device mounting.
• Support installation and checkout of fire alarm, voice/data and security systems.
• Use electrical tools and meters under supervision.
• Follow company procedures and safety policies on job sites.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality workmanship.
