Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience in Low Observables or Radar materials.
• Experience in material characterization, testing or prediction, or design, with integration onto air vehicle.
• Experience with customer and supplier collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize material and process workflows for Raytheon product lines and new business.
• Predict material performance using measurements and Computational Electromagnetic Codes.
• Perform material measurements of constitutive and RF properties; generate predictions.
• Participate in Integrated Product Teams, supporting advanced signature control.
• Lead material formulation, development, and fabrication process improvements.
• Support composites operations, material testing, and characterization (RF, mechanical, physical).
• Prepare engineering documentation and interface with customers and suppliers.
• Participate in program reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Demonstrate ownership and lead as Materials Lead on teams.
