Job summary

government security clearance is required for day one, and US citizenship is mandatory. The position reports to integrated product teams, collaborates with suppliers and customers, and expects strong project ownership and mentoring of junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics and 8+ years experience, or An Advanced Degree with 5+ years experience.
• Experience in Low Observables or Radar materials.
• Experience with material characterization, testing or design and integration on air vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Lead material and process development and integration across Raytheon product lines.
• Predict material performance with tests and Computational Electromagnetic Codes.
• Measure constitutive and RF attenuation properties and generate predictions.
• Work with product teams to apply signature control techniques to deliverables.
• Prepare engineering documentation and interface with customers and suppliers.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead Integrated Product Teams.
