Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a System Software Engineer for GeForce NOW to advance ultra low latency streaming on a variety of devices, including Macs, PCs, and mobile. You will optimize the streaming pipeline, drive performance, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality cloud gaming experiences.

Role requires strong C/C++, multi-threaded programming, and experience with video processing, networking and cross-platform development.

Qualifications

Proficient in C/C++ and multithreaded programming.
Experience with video processing pipelines and codecs.
Experience on Linux and Windows, and networking with WebRTC is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and improve media streaming stack to deliver ultra low latency, video quality and network resilience.
Own end-to-end software development cycle for features and modules and meet performance, reliability, scalability and sustainability requirements.
Develop tools for video perf and quality analysis, verification and tuning.
Define and build performance metrics and indicators, leverage data to analyze and improve streaming performance and user experience.
Participate in software reviews and contribute to quality of designs and code across the team.
