Job summary

Dallas Independent School District seeks a Developer (226 Days) funded by bonds to configure low-code platforms, integrate core enterprise systems, and deliver dashboards and reports for stakeholder needs.

You will work with IT staff and business units to translate requirements into working low-code solutions, perform testing, and maintain data integrity while following established development standards.

Responsibilities

• Configure low-code platforms to meet business needs and improve performance.
• Develop and maintain interfaces to core enterprise systems and applications.
• Develop and perform system testing and validation procedures.
• Develop and perform low-code application development and documentation.
• Develop and optimize database objects including tables and views.
• Consult with departments or stakeholders on new rapid development requests.
• Work with stakeholders on technical issues including low-code software system design and maintenance.
• Analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new platforms or modifications of an existing system.
• Consult with IT staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
• Prepare status reports on application development project specifications, activities, or status.
• Perform or assist in debugging, troubleshooting and resolving application and data integrity issues.
• Confer with project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities.
• Translate stakeholder requests into working low-code software solutions.
• Develop dashboards and reports to meet user specifications.
• Responsible for adherence to established development methodology and standards.
• Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
