Job summary

Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT seeks an experienced bartender to serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, greet guests, and uphold responsible service. You will follow policy, ID checks, and steps of service while delivering fast, friendly experiences.

The role requires standing long hours, lifting up to 25 lbs, and coordinating with the bar team to maintain cleanliness, inventory, and timely service across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in bartending or serving cocktails in a full service restaurant, lounge or showroom/nightclub.
• Thorough working knowledge of state liquor laws including proper identification, refusal of service and shut off procedures.

Responsibilities

• Takes drink orders from guests and delivers them in a timely manner following the steps of service.
• Clears dirty glassware, plates and silverware from patrons.
• Sets up dining room, lounges and other operational stations according to procedures.
• Assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the outlet; assists the bartender as needed.
• Performs opening and closing duties and communicates with management on inventory and maintenance needs.
