Job summary

Mohegan Sun is seeking a Barback to maintain and stock bars in accordance with department procedures and standards. You will receive, fill, and deliver stock orders, and keep bars stocked with liquor, beer and glassware while maintaining cleanliness.

You will assist bartenders with garnishes, glassware washing, and overall bar upkeep, including floor and equipment cleaning, following health and sanitation guidelines and state liquor laws.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of legal beverage service guidelines and state liquor laws including proper identification.
• Thorough knowledge of ice handling procedures and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Receives, fills, and delivers stock orders/requisitions.
• Keeps bars stocked with supplies including liquor, beer and glassware.
• Cleans floors, equipment, countertops and shelves in assigned outlets.
• Assists Bartender with garnishes and washing glassware.
