Job summary

HVMG - Hospitality Ventures Management Group in Portland, ME is seeking an energetic Lounge Server to deliver exceptional service in our hotel lounge. You will take guest orders, serve food and beverages, and help create a welcoming atmosphere.

The ideal candidate is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, with a flexible schedule that covers evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hotel experience is a plus and eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience is a plus; combination of education and experience.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Sufficient education and/or literacy to read product labels and communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required - with or without reasonable accommodations.

Job description

We are looking for an energetic and personable Lounge Server to provide exceptional service in our lounge area. In this role, you'll take guest orders, serve food and beverages, and create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages relaxation and enjoyment. The ideal candidate is attentive, knowledgeable about menu offerings, and passionate about delivering a great guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be the friendly face of our hotel's lounge, providing exceptional service and ensuring guests have an enjoyable and relaxing experience.
• Your daily tasks will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and inviting lounge environment.
• You will report to the Lounge Supervisor or Beverage Manager.
• A career as a lounge server can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as restaurant server, bartender, or even food and beverage management positions.

Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:
