MGM Resorts is hiring a Food & Beverage Runner for Skyfall Lounge at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. You will deliver prompt, courteous service, present food accurately, and share menu knowledge to enhance the guest experience.

The role supports a refined lounge environment and requires teamwork with the service staff. The ideal candidate is 21+ with at least 6 months of relevant experience and flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• 6+ months of prior relevant experience in a similar environment preferred.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience in a resort setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
• Expedite food from the kitchen to the table as directed by service flow and kitchen staff.
• Describe dishes on placement and answer questions about menu features.
• Coordinate with the expediter to ensure correct delivery to tables.
• Perform open and closing side-work and maintain station cleanliness.
• Communicate guest needs to kitchen/management and relay guest feedback.

THE JOB:

As a Food & Beverage Runner at Skyfall Lounge at Mandalay Bay , you will play an essential role in delivering an elevated guest experience in a sophisticated lounge setting. You will provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service, accurately present food and beverage selections, and demonstrate knowledge of menu offerings. By working closely with the service team, you will help ensure seamless operations and create memorable experiences for every guest.

THE STARTING RATE:

$15.21 + tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcome
• Expedite food from the kitchen to the table as dictated by sequence of service and by the Chef or kitchen expediter
• Describe food upon placement on the table, answering questions pertaining to the dishes
• Describe menu features as needed (include changes and additions)
• Communicate with expediter to ensure delivery of food to the correct table and position
• Perform assigned open and closing side-work
• Communicate needs of the guest to kitchen and management, inform management of guest comments and assist management to ensure smooth operation and quality service
• Check dining area, tables and chairs for cleanliness, maintain cleanliness and organization of station and service area

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Is 21+ years of age
• 6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience in a similar environment preferred
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required
• Experience working in a similar resort setting Preferred
