Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Bar Porter for Skyfall Lounge at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas to ensure bar supplies are stocked, the bar is clean, and guest service is outstanding in a fast-paced resort setting. You will support beverage operations, assist with setup and teardown of portable bars, and help maintain inventory and organization across the lounge area.

Must be 21+ with prior resort/bar experience; weekend/holiday shifts required.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age
• Previous resort/bar or similar experience preferred
• Willing to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Stock and serve beverages and bar supplies, maintain inventory and par levels
• Keep beverage areas clean, organized and sanitized
• Assist with bar setup, transfers, and deliveries
• Organize storage and ensure correct routes for deliveries
• Address guest questions or complaints and escalate as needed

THE JOB:

As a Bar Porter at Skyfall Lounge at Mandalay Bay, you will support efficient beverage operations by ensuring glassware, beer, condiments, paper products, and other essential bar supplies are fully stocked and readily available. You will help maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared bar environment while providing attentive guest service and contributing to the elevated experience that defines Skyfall Lounge.

THE STARTING RATE:

$19.2703 USD Hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets, maintain assigned levels of inventory, including delivery and stock of glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, paper products, and other necessary items


• Maintain cleanliness of beverage areas including all related assigned bar equipment, tools, supplies, trash removal, deep cleaning, sanitation and work area, to include cleaning bar area, tables, chairs, refrigerators, countertops, and mopping floors


• Complete required paperwork including bar transfers and dry stock deliveries


• Maintain pars of liquor, beer, and supplies in cooler and dry storage area, order as needed


• Responsible for set-up and breakdown of portable bars in designated areas


• Ensure use of correct freight elevators and delivery routes to designated hotel areas and beverage outlets


• Organize and maintain beverage pump room areas, including pump room products, storage rooms, and warehouses, and identify non-stock items and alert management as necessary


• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft


• Perform other job-related duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Is 21+ years of age


• Preferably has previous experience in a similiar resort environment


• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
