Description

As a Lobby Lounge Cocktail Server, you will work in a social environment where you can connect with guests and build relationships. Your responsibilities include providing food and beverage service to guests in a friendly and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience.

Essential Functions

1. Maintain proper setup and cleanliness of the service station and floor before, during, and after shifts.
2. Greet guests promptly and courteously, explaining specials, promotions, and food options.
3. Provide service to all guests, responsible for guests regardless of their location in the lounge.
4. Take orders and recite drink selections, including call and premium brands.
5. Provide snacks and garnishes with beverages.
6. Input orders into the POS system promptly for bartender notification.
7. Keep guest tables clean, assist with bar area, and ensure a tidy environment.
8. Replenish beverages and check back with guests to ensure satisfaction.
9. Present bills, handle cash, and process payments accurately.
10. Perform cleaning duties as assigned to adhere to health standards.
11. Stock supplies such as straws, napkins, and glassware daily.
12. Clear tables within 3 minutes of guest departure.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements

1. Basic knowledge of food and beverage service in a high-volume bar.
2. Extensive knowledge of spirits, beer, and wines.
3. Awareness of surroundings and guest needs, following corporate standards.
4. Ability to read menus, communicate effectively in English, and take orders.
5. Memory for menu items and promotional offerings.
6. Ability to carry trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
7. Compliance with liquor laws and regulations.
8. Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
9. Cash handling experience and ability to balance funds accurately.
10. Ability to learn POS procedures and obtain necessary licenses or certifications.
11. Minimum of one year cocktail serving experience.
12. Preferred certifications include TIPS and bartender certification.
