Job summary

PCI is seeking a Project Manager for its Louisville, KY operations to provide project management support to commercial projects. The role includes safety planning, QA/QC adherence, RFIs/submittals, schedule creation, and coordination with field crews.

Responsibilities include managing punch lists, cost control, subcontract buyouts, and vendor coordination, with a focus on profitability and customer relations. This safety-sensitive position requires strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• At least 5–7 years of construction management experience.
• OSHA Certification.
• Experience with estimating, project management, and managing specialty scopes of construction.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in safety plans and measures at the branch and projects.
• Create/manage punch lists proactively.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals and shop drawings.
• Understand and coordinate building systems with the construction process.
• Create and implement job schedules with field supervisors and foremen.
• Perform labor control and cost analysis to maximize profits.
• Coordinate warranties and O&M.
• Assist in selecting vendors and coordinating materials/equipment.
• Assist in subcontract buyout, contracts, and change orders.
• Complete monthly FAWs for cost control on projects.
• Maintain positive customer relations and participate in the Customer Alignment Plan.
