Qualifications

  • 10-20 years of progressive bridge/structural design experience.
  • Licensed Structural Engineer in Arkansas, preferred.
  • Experience managing a team of engineers.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working with ARDOIT, preferred.
  • Familiar with DOT Design Guidelines and Standards, AASHTO LRFD Design Guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all structural engineering efforts in Arkansas.
  • Oversee structural projects in Arkansas, including traditional and alternative delivery.
  • Collaborate with a large bridge group within the company.

Arkansas Bridge Lead

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Arkansas Bridge Lead to oversee all structural engineering efforts in Arkansas. This position will be based in our Little Rock office. In this pivotal role, you will have the unique opportunity to lead and mentor a growing team of talented engineers, driving the success of numerous high-impact projects. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of our structural engineering initiatives, not only within Arkansas but also across multiple states.

As the Arkansas Bridge Lead, you will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring the seamless execution of projects and fostering a collaborative environment. You will work on a diverse array of projects, from new constructions to replacements, and play a key role in expanding our bridge group. This position offers a platform to showcase your expertise, influence strategic decisions, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all structural engineering efforts in Arkansas.
  • Oversee structural projects in Arkansas, including traditional and alternative delivery.
  • Collaborate with a large bridge group within the company.
  • Facilitate work sharing across the organization, contributing to over 100 active projects within the structures group.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed Structural Engineer in Arkansas, preferred.
  • Experience managing a team of engineers.
  • 10-20 years of progressive bridge/structural design experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working with ARDOIT, preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenBridge Modeler, InRoads and/or Open Roads Designer.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as OpenBridge Designer, Merlin, Leap Steel, CSI Bridge or other similar bridge design software.
  • Familiar with DOT Design Guidelines and Standards, AASHTO LRFD Design Guidelines.
