Job summary

Primoris Heavy Civil seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support heavy civil construction projects in Louisiana. You will assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and field coordination to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's in construction management or civil engineering, 2–5 years in heavy civil, and proficiency with Primavera P6, Procore, and HCSS. Strong communication, reading blueprints, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in heavy civil construction, supporting project teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction principles, practices, and PM methodologies.
• Proficiency with construction management software (Primavera P6, HCSS, Procore) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of heavy civil projects.
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement solutions.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and daily reports.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Assist with budget tracking, cost control, and financial reporting.
