Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking a General Manager to lead the operation and delivery of a client’s core lottery system and its supporting environment. You will oversee service delivery, project execution, and workforce leadership to ensure reliability, security, and on-time performance.

You will partner with the account leadership to translate initiatives into site plans, manage budgets, and deliver measurable results while maintaining regulatory and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, operations, or related field.
• Ten to fifteen years of related professional experience in operational leadership.
• Ten+ years in managing operations, service delivery, or mission-critical environments.
• Demonstrated people leadership, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Experience managing complex technology operations, projects, releases, and incidents.
• Strong budget management, forecasting, and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation and delivery of the core lottery system and its technical environment.
• Ensure systems, software, infrastructure, services, projects, and personnel meet requirements.
• Maintain system availability, incident response, and change execution.
• Direct implementation of site projects, releases, maintenance, and initiatives.
• Develop operational plans, schedules, resources, risks, and milestones.
• Own operational issues from escalation to resolution and communicate with stakeholders.
• Ensure service-level agreements and contractual commitments are met.
• Provide updates to stakeholders on performance, incidents, and action plans.
• Lead site personnel through workforce planning, coaching, and development.
• Establish clear team priorities and accountability for results.
• Coordinate internal departments, vendors, and external stakeholders for execution.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Manage site operating budget, forecasts, and expenditures.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.
