Job summary

Central Texas Harley-Davidson is seeking a reliable Lot Technician to join our team. This is a driving position handling powersports vehicles on the lot, showroom, and service areas.

You’ll move bikes and other powersports units, prep for delivery, and support sales and service while keeping the lot organized and safe in all weather. Must have a valid license and motorcycle endorsement; age requirements apply based on vehicle type.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of delivery driving experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older (Forklift/Company Truck) or Must be 25 years of older (CDL Company Truck Driver)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (motorcycle endorsement required)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and move motorcycles up to 850 lbs

Responsibilities

• Safely drive, move, and park powersports vehicles on the lot, showroom, and service areas
• Assist with vehicle check‑in and inspection upon delivery
• Keep the lot neat, clean, and organized at all times
• Prepare units for customer delivery, including cleaning and fueling
• Deliver and pick up units to customers

Description and Responsibilities

Central Texas Harley-Davidson is seeking a reliable Lot Technician to join our team. This is a driving position , and you must be 21 years of age or older (Forklift/Company Truck) or Must be 25 years of older (CDL Company Truck Driver) . In this hands‑on role, you’ll be responsible for the safe operation, movement, and organization of powersports vehicles on our lot and must have the ability to transport vehicles with a truck and trailer. You must be comfortable and capable of handling a wide variety of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and more.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely drive, move, and park motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other powersports vehicles on the lot, in the showroom, and in service areas
• Assist with vehicle check‑in and inspection upon delivery
• Keep the lot neat, clean, and organized at all times
• Prepare units for customer delivery, including cleaning and fueling
• Deliver and pick up units to customers
• Support the sales and service teams with unit movement and logistics
• Maintain awareness of the lot’s layout and assist in managing inventory flow
• Perform general support tasks as needed

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ years of delivery driving experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older (Forklift/Company Truck) or Must be 25 years of older (CDL Company Truck Driver)
• This is a driving position—must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (motorcycle endorsement required)
• Must be able to ride and confidently maneuver motorcycles and other powersports units, including manual transmission
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically active conditions (standing, crouching, kneeling)
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to safely push motorcycles weighing up to 850lbs
• Must be able to safely and efficiently move through the dealership premises—including indoor showrooms, vehicle lots, and service areas—while maintaining awareness of moving vehicles, customer foot traffic, and showroom displays.
• Must be able to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform job duties.
