Job summary

ONYX Automotive, part of The H+H Group in Omaha, seeks a Lot Porter / Vehicle Merchandising Assistant to enhance vehicle appeal and marketability for buyers. You’ll help ensure the dealership inventory looks its best and meets high customer expectations.

Key responsibilities include organizing displays, presenting vehicles, performing quality checks, and coordinating movements across properties. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and readiness to grow within the company.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, work outdoors in various weather conditions, stand for extended periods of time and walk 10,000 steps a day on average.
• Desire to grow, learn, and advance within the company.
• Perform bending, pushing, climbing, leaning, twisting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and other maneuvers associated with the position.
• Ability to confidently operate automatic, electric, hybrid, and manual vehicles, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Oversee the organization and display of new and used vehicles on the lot.
• Vehicle Presentation: Ensure all vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and properly showcased to attract potential buyers.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles meet our quality standards.
• Logistics Coordination: Manage the movement of vehicles within the H+H Group properties and coordinate with the sales and ORC teams for efficient workflow.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, including location, condition, and status updates.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all vehicles are parked and displayed in a manner that ensures the safety of Customers and staff.

Come be a part of something GREAT! We are adding a Lot Porter to our team, where you will work as a Vehicle Merchandising Assistant. You will be responsible for enhancing the appeal and marketability of vehicles to attract potential buyers. This role will play a crucial role in the overall success of our dealership. A keen attention to detail and dedication to excellence will ensure that our inventory always looks its best and meets the high standards our Customers expect. (Pay $18/hour)
