Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a Lot Operations Assistant in Tampa to support vehicle movement, inventory accuracy, and sale-day readiness. You will drive the service truck, tow truck, and forklift to keep the lot organized and ready for auctions.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, have a valid driver's license, and can safely operate multiple vehicle types. Prior automotive or auction experience is preferred, and the role offers Monday–Friday schedules with hourly pay between $17 and

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license that meets requirements.
Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes, including tow trucks, forklifts, and the service truck
Automotive or auction experience preferred

Responsibilities

Support lot operations by preparing vehicles for sale and moving them with tow trucks or forklifts.
Record vehicle movement and status using electronic devices to maintain inventory accuracy.
Assist with vehicle readiness tasks such as adding fluids, tire inflation, and checking VINs.
Coordinate with shop and operations teams to ensure smooth sale-day flow.
Provide customer service support and assist administrative teams during sale days
