Job summary

Manheim in Dallas, TX is seeking a Lane Leader to coordinate the movement of vehicles through the sales lane to the block and parking areas. You will oversee driver assignments and ensure safe, efficient operations in the auction lot environment.

The role requires driving ability, basic mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to safety. You may be asked to work overtime as business needs dictate, in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3 years in a related field, or an equivalent combo.
• Valid driver’s license required; ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify common issues (flat tires, low gas, jump-start).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle movement through the sales lane to block and parking.
• Assign drivers and operators to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
• Use Supervisor and Lot Ops dashboards to stage zones and move decisions.
• Drive continuous safety and efficiency improvements in vehicle movement.
• Label vehicles for sale and routing; communicate status to crew leaders.
• Model Cox/Manheim values and ensure respectful conduct.
• Perform overtime as needed and other duties as assigned.
