Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a Lane Leader in Euless, TX to coordinate vehicle movement from the sales lane to the block and parking, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic through the auction.

The role includes supervising drivers and the jump-start/battery team, and addressing operational issues on site. Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma or GED, some related field experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
• OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline.
• OR 5 years' experience in a related field.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of identifying (i.e., flat tires, low gas, jump-starting vehicles.)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct vehicle movement to maintain continuous flow of traffic to the block.
• Oversee parking sold vehicles and re-parking non-sold vehicles.
• Identify and address missing vehicles, overflow areas, inoperable vehicles and other issues.
• Maintain the run list indicating vehicles with no keys, late entries, and/or late number changes.
• Respond to customer and dealer inquiries and concerns.
• Report theft, lot damage, or any safety concerns to management.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Degree/certification beyond HS

5 years' experience in related field

Valid driver's license

Ability to drive vehicles with standard/automatic transmission

Basic mechanical knowledge
