Job summary

A leading auto auction company in Perrysburg, Ohio is looking for a Lot Operations Lead. This role is crucial for the physical organization and inventory integrity of the auction yard. Responsibilities include overseeing vehicle check-in, implementing parking plans, training staff, and ensuring the lot is customer-ready. Candidates must have a high school diploma, at least 3 years of experience in lot operations or logistics, and a valid driver’s license. Physical stamina to work long hours outdoors is also required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in lot operations, warehouse logistics, or a similar field.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the check-in process for all incoming vehicles.
• Designs and implements the parking plan for each sale.
• Conducts daily lot audits to identify and reconcile any missing units.
• Manages the Inoperable Vehicle area.
• Ensures the lot is customer ready by overseeing trash removal.
• Responsible for the security of the lot.
• Coordinates the set-up for the morning of the auction.
• Assists the Transportation Department by identifying and clearing paths.
• Trains lot staff on the use of handheld inventory scanners.
• Monitors the key-to-car ratio.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
