Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a supervisor to orient and lead the driver team, coordinate vehicle movements, and ensure timely transport of staff and vehicles. The role emphasizes safety and adherence to company policies while coordinating with the supervisor to optimize staffing and performance.

The successful candidate will have a HS diploma or GED, 3–5 years in a related field, and a valid driver's license, with the ability to work outdoors and handle overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years' related field experience.
• Alternatively, 5 years' related discipline experience.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Orient and instruct new drivers regarding their job duties and assist supervisor in assigning and directing the work of employees.
• Communicate with supervisor or manager to assure proper flow of vehicles and maintain log of stock numbers for each vehicle moved and its lot location.
• Communicate schedules and assignments to the crew members.
• Manage vans and transport drivers to locations; ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of employees and vehicles by transporting them according to schedule to their proper work destinations.
• Shuttle employees to and from auxiliary parking lots on sale days; provide transportation to employees parking inventoried vehicles at remote sites.
• Pick-up and drop-off employees and other Auction personnel to/from the Auction, parking lots, dealerships, customer locations/businesses, and other locations.
• Perform daily maintenance and routine checks of the van and service the vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Demonstrate safety commitment and follow safety procedures; cooperate with Market Safety Manager on safety activities.
