Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a Lot Operations helper to assist with inventory flow, vehicle readiness, and customer support on site. You will drive service trucks, tow trucks, and forklifts to maintain accurate inventory and vehicle readiness for sale.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes, including tow trucks, forklifts, and the service truck.
• Automotive or auction experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications.
• Obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Support lot operations by preparing vehicles for sale and moving them with a lot tow truck or forklift.
• Record vehicle movements using electronic devices.
• Assist with vehicle readiness tasks (jump-starts, fluids, air, status).
• Handle removal of personal property from vehicles.
• Coordinate with shop and operations for efficient inventory flow.
• Provide customer service and admin support.
• Verify vehicle mileage, make year, and VIN.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and report hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
