Job summary

Guardian Fleet Services in Pompano Beach, FL, is seeking a hands-on Lot Attendant to keep our tow yard organized and secure. You’ll manage vehicle flow, assist drivers and customers, document conditions, and help with loading/unloading tasks while upholding safety protocols.

This onsite role requires a valid driver's license, reliability, and strong communication. Expect a fast-paced environment with teamwork and opportunities to support a leading Florida fleet and towing operation.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate and maneuver vehicles of all makes and models.
• Basic understanding of vehicle controls and automotive safety.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and organize incoming vehicles from tow operators.
• Move vehicles within the yard using keys, dollies, or push‑assists as needed.
• Document vehicle condition, damages, and inventory details accurately.
• Assist customers with vehicle releases, paperwork, and escorting them to their vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are parked safely and in compliance with yard layout and security protocols.
• Monitor yard activity and report suspicious behavior or safety hazards.
• Support drivers with loading/unloading tasks when necessary.
• Operate small equipment such as jump boxes, tire inflators, and lockout tools.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Assist with after‑hours or weekend operations as needed.

As a Lot Attendant with Guardian Fleet Services, you’re the heartbeat of the yard—keeping our operation sharp, organized, and always ready for action. You manage vehicle flow, maintain a clean and safe lot, assist drivers and customers, and help keep our high‑volume towing yard running smoothly. This position is onsite in Pompano, FL

The Yard/Lot Attendant is the driving force behind a clean, organized, and secure tow yard. In this fast‑paced role, you’ll keep vehicles moving smoothly, assist customers during releases, document vehicle conditions with accuracy, and support both drivers and office staff. As a key player in daily operations, you help maintain a safe yard environment and ensure efficient vehicle flow that keeps the entire operation running strong.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, and move items up to 50–75 lbs. (vehicle parts, equipment, debris).

• Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours).
