Happy Trailers in Texas is seeking a Lot Attendant to organize and position trailers across the lot, ensuring safe movement and efficient operations. You will back trailers, assist technicians, inspect for damage, and help customers connect trailers securely.

This role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Monday 8-5 and Saturdays 8-12 are the schedule, with benefits including health and dental insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus
• Trailer experience and knowledge
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift, climb, stand, stoop, and walk throughout shift
• Attention to detail for inspections
• Ability to back trailers and maneuver them safely in tight spaces
• Basic mechanical knowledge/skills
• Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn

Responsibilities

• Operates a tractor to safely move and position trailers throughout the lot and designated areas.
• Responsible for assembling trailers, ensuring all components are properly installed, secured, and prepared for sale.
• Assist service technicians with trailer repair, maintenance, and installation jobs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized trailer lot, including removing debris and keeping designated areas safe and presentable.
• Inspect trailers for damage, defects, or missing components and report issues for repair.
• Keep trailers on yard clean and presentable, free of dirt and debris.
• Assist customers with safely hooking up trailers to vehicles, ensuring proper connection and secure attachment before departure.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Lot Attendant ensures trailers are assembled, properly parked, organized, and positioned in designated areas for easy access, efficient lot management, and safe movement throughout the property.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
