Job summary

Big Tex Trailer World in American Fork, UT, is seeking a General Laborer to keep the outdoor trailer lot organized and presentable. You will unload freight, assemble trailers, wash and prep units for delivery, and assist customers with hookups and safety inspections.

You will maintain the lot, stock trailers and parts, support service technicians, and help with store opening/closing and cleaning. This role requires a High School diploma or GED and a valid driver's license, with availability

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to work Monday–Saturday with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble trailers
• Park and move trailers
• Wash and prepare trailers for delivery
• Assist customers with hook-up and perform basic safety inspections
• Maintain the lot (mowing, weed removal, cleaning, signage) and stock trailers/supplies
• Support Service Technicians as needed
• Assist with store opening/closing and general cleaning
• Other duties as assigned

Summary

The General Laborer is responsible for the organization and presentation of the outdoor trailer and product areas. Maintains the appearance of the lot, unloads, receives freight. Assembles trailers and assists with service and maintenance duties as directed. Provides customer service in support of store sales and service activities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assemble trailers
• Park and move trailers
• Wash and prepare trailers for delivery.
• Help customers hook-up trailers. Perform visual safety inspection (lights, safety chain, decking, etc.)
• Maintain lot including but not limited to mowing, weed removal, snow removal, picking up trash, installing exterior signs, banners, or flags.
• Receive and stock trailers, parts, and supplies.
• Support Service Technicians as needed.
• Support opening and closing of the store as directed.
• Clean and organize store and support areas as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be available to work Monday - Saturday and overtime as needed
