Job summary

OneWater Marine in Huron, Ohio is seeking a Lot Associate to help keep the marina lot clean, organized, and safe while vehicles and equipment are stored.

You will assist with organization, move boats and equipment, conduct inspections, help prepare boats for deliveries, and support receiving of inventory.

Strong teamwork and attention to detail are valued; a high school diploma and a valid driver's license are preferred, with training available for equipment operation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Prior experience in a similar role or in the marine industry is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the organization and maintenance of the lot.
  • Ensure boats, trailers and equipment are stored properly.
  • Safely move and transport boats and equipment to support sales, service, and customer needs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of boats and equipment for damage or maintenance. Report any issues to management.
  • Assist in preparing boats for deliveries. Support in the receiving and unloading of new inventory.
  • Demonstrate attentiveness when customers are on the lot, assisting as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the lot is safe for all employees and customers.
  • Partner with other team members to ensure operational and customer needs are prioritized and met.
  • Maintain knowledge, training, and certifications for equipment use.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Job description

Position Summary

Lot associates are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the lot where marine vehicles and equipment are stored for their respective OneWater Marine store.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Assist with the organization and maintenance of the lot. Ensure all boats, trailers and other equipment are stored properly.

Safely move and transport boats and equipment as needed to support sales, service, and customer needs.

Conduct regular inspections of boats and equipment for damage or maintenance. Report any issues to management.

Assist in preparing boats for deliveries. Support in the receiving and unloading of new inventory.

Demonstrate attentiveness when customers are on the lot, assisting as needed.

Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the lot is safe for all employees and customers.

Partner with other team members to ensure operational and customer needs are prioritized and met.

Maintain knowledge, training, and certifications for equipment use.

Any other duties as assigned.

Skills
  • Ability to operate forklifts, boats, and other equipment, or willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
