Job summary

OneWater Marine seeks a Lead Lot Associate to organize and maintain the dealership lot, mentoring a team of lot associates and ensuring efficient operation at the store.

You will coordinate daily lot activities, assist in boat deliveries, uphold safety protocols, and support boat shows and events while building strong customer relationships and promoting the dealership's reputation.

Qualifications

Job description

Position Summary

The lead lot associate is responsible for the organization and maintenance of the dealership lot. As a leader, this individual will mentor a team of lot associates ensuring efficient operation of their respective OneWater Marine store.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure the lot is clean, organized, and well‑maintained at all times.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day operations of the dealership lot.
• Monitor and assist in the movement and positioning of boats, trailers, and other vehicles to ensure all are in safe working condition.
• Work closely with the sales and service departments to ensure timely preparation and delivery of boats; assist with customer deliveries as needed.
• Guide a team of lot associates, providing continuous learning and training to ensure all safety protocols are followed.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to keep the lot safe for employees and customers.
• Ensure all operations on the lot are carried out safely and efficiently; use equipment such as forklifts safely.
• Analyze operations and find ways to increase efficiency, sales, and profitability of the dealership; help maintain inventory on the lot.
• Assist with customer questions and build positive relationships to strengthen loyalty and reputation.
• Support the execution of successful boat shows, store and off‑site sales/customer events, including boat movement and setup.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in automotive/marine‑related fields preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The position requires frequently operating forklifts and other equipment, moving vehicles and boats up to 100 pounds, and standing or walking for extended periods. The work environment is primarily indoor with controlled temperatures, no hazardous conditions, and involves exposure to intense weather only during outdoor events.
