Brunswick’s Mercury Marine is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Lost Foam to drive hands-on improvements on the shop floor for a defined family of lost foam castings. You will analyze data, troubleshoot defects, and lead cross-functional improvements to ensure safe, stable production and high-quality parts.

You will collaborate with operators, tooling, quality, maintenance, and controls to implement process changes, read drawings, and support PPAP validation.

Competenze

• Hands-on technical engineering support for a family of lost foam castings across the entire manufacturing process.
• Monitor, collect, and analyze operating data to understand effects of key process parameters and identify improvements.
• Provide day-to-day production support by troubleshooting casting defects, process variation, and upstream or downstream conditions.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focusing on defect reduction, process stability, productivity, cost reduction, ergonomics, and safety.
• Apply a systems approach to problem solving across foam molding, coating, sand, pouring, extraction, finishing, machining, leak testing, painting, and other operations.

• Collaborate with operations, quality, maintenance, controls engineering, tooling, and project management teams to implement process improvements.
