Job summary

The STRAT in Las Vegas is seeking a Lost & Found Coordinator to expertly catalog, secure, and reunite guests with belongings while maintaining precise records. You will interact with guests and team members, ensuring confidential handling and timely returns in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

We seek an organized, detail-oriented individual with strong computer skills and a passion for outstanding guest service, ready to uphold gaming regulations and internal controls.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or security industry preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
  • Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
  • Efficient using computers, including but not limited to Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests and team members seeking lost or found items
  • Record detailed descriptions, dates, and locations of found items in the system
  • Safely store items, maintain records, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Collaborate with other departments as necessary to ensure smooth operations and timely returns
  • Contact owners when items are turned in, verify ownership, and arrange return or disposal of unclaimed items per company policy
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, has excellent computer skills, and is passionate about providing outstanding guest service.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:



  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests and team members seeking lost or found items

  • Record detailed descriptions, dates, and locations of found items in the system

  • Safely store items, maintain records, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Collaborate with other departments as necessary to ensure smooth operations and timely returns

  • Contact owners when items are turned in, verify ownership, and arrange return or disposal of unclaimed items per company policy

Requirements


  • At least 21 years of age

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal

  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

  • Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements


  • Occasionally push/pull up to 75lbs

  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 75lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels

  • Occasionally squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist

  • Regularly sit and work at a desk or computer

  • Regularly standing and walking

  • Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone

  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person

  • Ability to distinguish between shades of color

  • Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity

  • Ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps
