Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Loss Prevention professional to safeguard inventory and assist in investigations within our distribution center network. The role focuses on shrink reduction, audits, safety, and security operations at the DC level.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of Loss Prevention experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams, including law enforcement when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Profit Protection, Operations, Safety, Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Inventory integrity, shrink control and profit protection.
• Conduct and assist in internal investigations (theft, dishonesty, policy violations, HR) in the DC.
• Conduct and assist with external investigations related to cargo theft to and from the DCs.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly audits.
• Safety and Emergency Preparedness tasks with leadership team.
• Protect physical security: screen entrants, test alarm systems, and monitor yard operations.
• Support investigations, including potential terminations, with detailed reporting.
