Responsibilities

• Protect company assets, including employees, inventory, equipment, property, and confidential information.
• Monitor shipping and receiving operations, trailer yard activity, facility access points, parking lots, and other critical areas.
• Observe and document vehicle and trailer movement entering and exiting the facility.
• Monitor merchandise flow throughout the distribution center.
• Conduct CCTV surveillance and investigate suspicious or potentially dishonest activity.
• Assist with internal investigations and shortage analysis.
• Support loss prevention initiatives designed to reduce operational shrink.
• Ensure compliance with established safety, security, and fire prevention procedures.
• Verify incoming and outgoing trailer activity and maintain accurate records.
• Respond professionally and appropriately to incidents and security concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations.

Overview

A leading national distribution and logistics organization is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to support security, asset protection, and operational loss prevention efforts within a high-volume distribution center environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy investigations, security operations, surveillance, and maintaining a safe workplace. The Loss Prevention Specialist will work closely with site leadership to protect company assets, reduce shrink, monitor facility activity, and support internal investigations.
