Job summary

GMT LLC is seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Manager to safeguard our warehouse operations and ensure inventory integrity across multiple facilities. You will lead audits and inspections, develop and implement loss prevention policies, monitor theft risks with surveillance and alarm systems, and collaborate with staff to train on procedures.

Investigations of incidents, detailed reporting, and coordination with law enforcement or vendors are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention or security management required, warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong inventory control and shrink reduction knowledge.
• Proficient with surveillance systems, alarms, and security tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy and thoroughness.
• Able to work independently and in teams.
• Flexibility for non-traditional hours and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits and inspections of warehouse facilities to identify security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement loss prevention policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Utilize surveillance systems, alarm technologies, and other security measures to monitor risks related to theft, shrinkage, and inventory discrepancies.
• Collaborate with warehouse management and staff to provide training on loss prevention awareness, procedures, and protocols.
• Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to loss prevention activities, including incident reports, investigation summaries, and inventory audits.
• Coordinate with external law enforcement agencies, security vendors, and other third-party partners as needed to support loss prevention efforts.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in the field of loss prevention and security, recommending updates and enhancements to existing programs as appropriate.
