Job summary

UNIQLO in New York, NY is seeking a Loss Prevention Agent to drive safety and asset protection across daily operations. The role involves enforcing LP policy, training staff, and deterring theft while collaborating with the LP Manager on investigations and incident reporting.

The position is full-time with the listed starting wage of $28 per hour. Candidates should be able to work nights and weekends, and bring prior loss prevention or retail security experience to the team.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work extended periods at a desk or standing/walking.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Experience in conducting investigations preferred.
• 1–2 years of retail loss prevention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure knowledge and application of LP/safety policy and standards.
• Train store employees on LP policy and safety procedures.
• Detect and capture shoplifters per company protocol.
• Monitor potential employee theft; partner with LP Manager.
• Prepare incident, accident and investigative reports.
• Assist management in investigations of policy violations.
• Support shortage reduction initiatives including audits and inventories.
• Provide recommendations to loss/safety concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of investigations and outcomes.
• Respond to alarm calls as needed.
