Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking an Asset Protection Associate to protect store assets across sixteen stores in the Harrisburg area. This role focuses on investigating loss (merchandise, money, property) and preventing shrink through surveillance, inspections, and coordination with the Asset Protection team.

Responsibilities include touring stores to identify deficiencies, applying corrective actions, and assisting with inventories.

Qualifications

• Detects and resolves internal and external theft incidents.
• Assists in maintaining store safety and security for the area of responsibility.
• Performs store tours to identify deficiencies and take corrective action.
• Keeps awareness of high-risk areas to reduce merchandise losses.
• Reviews shrink reports and supports shrink reduction strategies during store visits.
• Prepares for NP inventories and assists with count audits and paperwork.
• Coordinates with other teams to deploy resources and cover meetings.

Responsibilities

• Protects company assets by investigating loss of assets including merchandise and money.
• Monitors for suspicious activity and ensures security protocols are followed.
• Coordinates with Asset Protection team and store personnel to deploy resources effectively.
• Supports training and policy communication on safety and security programs.
• Ensures stores are secure for associate safety from theft, internally and externally.
