Giant Food is hiring an Asset Protection Associate to protect the company's retail store assets by investigating loss of assets, including merchandise, money, and property. The role is responsible for preventing loss and shrink within assigned stores through monitoring, investigating, surveillance, and other LP tactics, including apprehending shoplifters.

Responsibilities:

• Detect and resolve internal and external theft incidents.
• Tour stores daily to identify deficiencies and execute corrective action as necessary.
• Maintain awareness of high-risk areas to reduce/control merchandise losses.
• Review shrink reports and assist in reacting to issues and opportunities seen in assigned stores.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Driver's License and transportation required
• Up to one year of related experience
• Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to various state and local jurisdictions
• Basic skills in MS Office
