JCPenney in New York is seeking a dedicated Asset Protection professional to observe and investigate theft and fraud, collect evidence, and document all phases of investigations. You will interview suspects, report findings to AP leadership, and coordinate with law enforcement as required.

The role involves traveling to stores, supporting safety initiatives, and conducting post-investigation reporting. A HS diploma is required; 1+ years in AP/security is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years retail work experience or Asset Protection/Security preferred.
• Equivalent leadership experience or education preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; a degree is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Observes activities to detect theft, fraud or suspicious activity and collects evidence.
• Conducts internal investigations and documents all stages.
• Interviews customers and contractors suspected of theft per policy and law.
• Reports suspected fraud to AP and store leadership.
• Collects and manages records of apprehension, witness statements and evidence.
