Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer in Rocklin, California. The role focuses on safety, security, and audits within the facility, with responsibilities including supervising entry/exit, hazard reviews, and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience with CCTV preferred or beneficial.
• Degree in Criminal Justice or 3–5 years of practical security experience preferred.
• Able to work a varied schedule including Sundays and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, observes, and supervises employees entering and exiting the building.
• Walks the facility conducting safety, hazard, and security audits.
• Monitors hazard materials storeroom and cleans up spills.
• Supervises disposition of damaged items and moves them to a safe location.
• Conducts investigations, inventory counts, and cycle counts.
• Reads SOPs, responds to alarms, and monitors CCTV.
• Provides trainings to other employees.
• Maintains clean work areas and supports a safe workplace.
