Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation in Rocklin, CA is hiring a Loss Prevention Officer for the 2nd shift to safeguard the facility and monitor safety, security, and loss prevention activities while supervising entry/exit points and conducting audits. You will support investigations, perform cycle counts, and train teammates on SOPs, PPE use, and safe lifting.

The role requires flexible hours, CCTV experience preferred, and a background in security or criminal justice preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience with CCTV preferred.
• Degree in Criminal Justice or 3–5 years security, Loss Prevention or law enforcement preferred.
• Able to work a varied schedule including weekends/holidays.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain it through training.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, observes, and supervises employees entering and exiting the building.
• Walks through facility conducting safety, hazard, and security audits.
• Monitors hazard materials storeroom and cleans up spills.
• Oversees disposition of damaged items and moves items to safe locations.
• Performs investigations, inventory counts and cycle counts; uses CCTV and SOPs.
• Provides trainings to other employees.
