Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to provide a visible security presence at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor.

You will deter theft, monitor for safety, and partner with Store Leadership to minimize shortages while upholding the Ross brand and customer service standards. Responsibilities include guarding entrances, conducting inspections, training associates on shortage reduction, and maintaining compliance with laws and company policies in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
Active Security Guard License preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
Excellent Customer service skills.
Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict.

Responsibilities

Maintains a visible security presence at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor.
Mitigates theft and fraud and supports safety for associates and customers.
Partners with Store Leadership to ensure compliance with Loss Prevention directives.
Gathers theft indicators and communicates findings to leadership.
Trains and educates Associates on shortage reduction initiatives.
Represents the Ross brand and maintains professional appearance.
