Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Lead in Ferguson, MO to mitigate theft and fraud in high-risk areas while promoting a safe store environment.

You will engage customers and associates with a strong greeting and eye contact, and you will train and develop Shortage Control Associates under store leadership. You will assist in identifying and reporting theft incidents, supporting Asset Protection programs, and helping with the semi-annual inventory process to reduce shortage.

Qualifications

• Assist leadership in inventory processes and loss-prevention initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide an effective deterrent to dishonest behaviors with command presence and proper attire.
• Maintain a safe and secure store environment with attention to detail and multi-tasking.
• Engage with customers and associates in high-risk shortage areas to promote good service and loss prevention.
• Identify and report theft indicators; coordinate with local law enforcement as needed.
• Assist in audits, associate training, and execution of semi-annual inventory actions.
• Role-model safety as a top priority and manage stressful situations.
