Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Loss Prevention Intern for a 10-week program in the Summer of 2027. The intern will lead projects to deliver security services and asset protection within a designated Fulfillment Center, working with cross-functional teams and reporting to the Loss Prevention Manager.

The role emphasizes SOX compliance, investigations, access control, and collaboration with Human Resources, Finance, and Security teams.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with conferral window in late 2026 to mid-2027.
• Working toward a degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Asset Protection, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Drive Standard Work and Continuous Improvement through an intern project.
• Ensure SOX controls are fulfilled within your area.
• Assist investigations of internal and external theft and fraud.
• Manage access controls to reduce unauthorized data access.
• Inspire performance excellence among security services team members.
• Align actions with the org's vision and department values.
• Meet objectives that align with the security service model.
• Coordinate with facility management to keep key issues and performance in view.
• Drive process improvements and increase efficiency.
• Identify and implement security best practices in a FC.
