Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Loss Prevention Intern for a 10-week program in Summer 2027. You will support the Loss Prevention team in safeguarding people, product, and data within fulfillment centers, coordinating with HR, Finance, and other partners, and driving security initiatives.

Qualified students will be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Asset Protection, or related fields, with strong interest in loss prevention, security systems, and investigations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with conferral between Dec 2026 and Aug 2027.
• Experience with physical security systems or investigation techniques is preferred.
• Ability to oversee contract security officers effectively.
• Strong task management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Drive intern project with Standard Work and Continuous Improvement.
• Ensure SOX controls are followed in your area.
• Assist investigations of theft and fraud.
• Manage access controls to reduce data access risks.
• Inspire performance and align with organizational vision and values.
• Coordinate with site and regional leaders to protect assets and people.
• Collect data across FCs and analyze for strategic insights.
• Support security services evaluation and improvements.
