Job summary

Amazon is offering a 10-week Loss Prevention Internship in Summer 2027 in the United States. You will lead an intern project to improve security services, protect people and assets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Human Resources, Finance, and Security.

Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor’s program and pursuing criminology or related fields. This internship includes relocation assistance, potential for full-time employment after completion, and opportunities to learn

Qualifications

Currently enrolled pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a conferral date between December 2026 and August 2027.
Pursuing Criminology, Criminal Justice, Asset Protection or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive Standard Work and Continuous Improvement through an intern project.
Ensure internal controls per Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements related to your area.
Assist with investigations of internal and external theft and fraud.
Manage access controls within the assigned FC to reduce the risk of unauthorized data access.
Inspire performance excellence on the part of all security services team members.
Meet or surpass your objectives that align with security service model.
Serve as department’s liaison for facility management keeping them abreast of key issues, strategies and the department’s performance.
Drive process improvements and increase efficiency.
Identify and implement security best practices in a designated FC.
Coordinate data collection and analysis across multiple FCs.
