Job summary

Amazon Loss Prevention Internship in Matteson, IL offers hands-on security services and asset protection within a Fulfillment Center environment. You will partner with site leaders, scope projects, and gain exposure to cross-functional teams including HR and Finance, while developing practical loss reduction skills.

The 10-week program runs in Summer 2027 with relocation and housing assistance, and may lead to a full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience with physical security systems, investigation techniques, contract security oversight, or loss mitigation in a distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Drive Standard Work and CI through an intern project.
• Ensure SOX internal controls related to your area are fulfilled.
• Assist investigations of internal and external theft and fraud.
• Manage access controls within the FC to reduce unauthorized data access.
• Inspire performance excellence on security services team members.
• Align actions with the organization's vision and values.
• Meet objectives that align with security service model.
• Serve as liaison for facility management on key issues and strategies.
• Drive process improvements and increase efficiency.
• Identify and implement security best practices in a designated FC.
• Coordinate data collection and analysis across FCs to generate insights.
