Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention specialist to maintain a safe store environment, deter theft, and partner with leadership on security programs. You will greet customers, monitor entrances, and support associates with loss prevention initiatives in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in retail supervision or security training, strong communication skills, and a focus on teamwork and customer service. High school diploma required; AA degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
• Must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations for security positions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for associates and customers.
• Provide visible greetings and monitor entrances/exits to deter theft.
• Coordinate with Store Leadership to enforce Loss Prevention directives.
• Train and educate Associates on shortage reduction initiatives.
• Ensure proper checkout procedures and adherence to company policies.
