Job summary

TJ Maxx in Stoughton, MA is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to help safeguard the store, deter dishonest behavior, and support a positive customer experience. You’ll wear a body worn camera, patrol front-of-store areas, and coordinate with store leadership to maintain safety and policy compliance.

Requirements include 0–2 years in retail or security, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while managing time and staying on your feet for long periods.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty.
• Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a complete Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Position yourself at the front of the store or in a department.
• Refer customers to store management or customer service via a radio when needed.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep with a member of management.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
