Responsibilities

• Analyzes and files timely Reports of Financial Elder/Adult Abuse.
• Provides technical, professional and analytical support to various departments of bank services and branches.
• Liaises for branch personnel and outside law enforcement agencies and legal counsel for operational losses and security policies.
• Assists with investigations for external and internal losses, compiles data and produces departmental reports.
• Reviews and processes operational loss charge-offs and files SARS as warranted.
• Reviews and monitors the Verafin system for fraudulent deposit activity and elder abuse.
• Responds to inquiries regarding safety and security policies and alarm systems.
• Assists management in branch emergencies and robberies.

Weekly Working Hours: 40

• Under general managerial guidance: Analyzes and files timely Reports of Financial Elder/Adult Abuse. Provides technical, professional and analytical support to various departments of bank services and branches.
• Functions as a liaison for branch personnel and outside law enforcement agencies and legal counsel for matters related to operational losses and security policies and procedures. Works with Senior Investigator & Manager to prepare documents for litigation.
• Assists with investigations for both external and internal losses, compiles investigative data and produces departmental reports for bank management.
• Reviews and processes operational loss charge-offs and files SARS as warranted
• Reviews and monitors the Verafin system for fraudulent deposit activity and financial elder abuse.
• Responds to departmental and branch inquiries regarding safety and security policies and procedures and their alarm systems.
• Assists management in branch emergencies & robberies.

Requirements

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS NEEDED TO PERFORM JOB

FUNCTIONS:

Excellent analytical, organizational, communications and interpersonal skills are required. Two -five years of branch banking experience or loss investigation experience required, where the incumbent has gained a working knowledge of various aspects of bank operations, bank security, including investigations, law enforcement procedures and methods. Incumbent must possess strong PC and math skills, and a working knowledge of TS, Lotus, Excel spreadsheets and word processing software. Prioritize multiple demands while meeting strict projects deadlines.
