Job summary

Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services seeks a Loss Control Associate in Englewood, CO to help win and retain clients by assessing risks and reducing losses across transportation, property, general liability, and workers' compensation lines. You will work with producers and a team of account executives and claims advocates, travel extensively, and provide safety surveys and training.

The role requires OSHA/ASP or CSP designation or commitment to obtain, strong Microsoft Office skills, and

Qualifications

• Overnight travel to Mountain West offices and clients (25-30%).
• Loss control or insurance industry experience preferred.
• ASP (Associate Safety Professional) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) designation or commitment to obtain within first year.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with account acquisition, retention and reduce losses; provide safety surveys and training.
• Facilitate agency and client relations and safety recommendations.
• Participate in OSHA training and maintain ASP or CSP designation.
• Provide client service and respond to questions promptly.
• Use EPIC data management system efficiently and follow workflows.
• Travel to client locations and manage workload to meet deadlines.
