Job summary

Alexander & Schmidt is seeking an Insurance Loss Control Field Representative to perform on-site inspections of property, general liability, and incidental auto lines, and to prepare reports for underwriting review.

The role emphasizes accurate loss control surveys to assist underwriters in selecting profitable business and helping insureds manage losses. Ability to travel within a 60-mile radius and strong writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience with a commercial carrier or as a loss control contractor.
• Understanding of commercial property and casualty lines including property, general liability, auto and workers compensation.
• Excellent writing, organizational and computer skills.
• Excellent time management.
• Willingness to travel within a 60-mile radius.
• Certifications CSP, OHST, ALCM and/or ARM are preferred, but not required.
• Uploading completed reports, photos and diagrams through a website or web-based systems.
